Jellyfish Salt is a synthetic salt specifically formulated for jellyfish in mind. Jellyfish are very similar to sea anemones and corals that require certain minerals in the water for many biological processes including protein metabolism to grow, repair and stay healthy within a closed environment. Jellyfish Salt is formulated to mix at a lower salinity with slightly higher proven elements to keep a healthy and stable jellyfish aquarium. Jellyfish Salt has been formulated to be used with Jellyfish Feast, Jellyfish Nutrition and Jellyfish Biostart.
Mixing Instructions:
Using accurate scales weigh 350 grams of Jellyfish Salt, add salt to the water and mix thoroughly. This will make a total of 10 litres of jellyfish aquarium water @ 32 PPT. Once completely dissolved allow it to sit for an hour before adding to your tank. Do not add water to the salt as it will precipitate and remain cloudy.
Maintenance:
Weekly water changes are recommended to replenish depleted elements in the water column and reduce excess nutrients caused by feeding. 10-30% weekly water changes are recommended to maintain a healthy jellyfish aquarium.
Caution: Not for human consumption, may cause skin irritation. Aquarium use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
