BioActive Media

Reef Revolution BioActive Media is a highly porous and light media with lots of surface area that nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria can colonise well within the media pores. BioActive Media is pre-seeded with Reef Revolutions proven beneficial bacteria strains to boost the biology of your new or established aquariums to stabilise nutrients and boost the cycle process of a new aquarium.

Instructions:
250ml of BioActive Media is recommended for every 100L of the aquariums total water volume. Adding extra BioActive Media can be added to a reactor or mesh bag as it will not have any adverse effects and help assist with the stability and biology of your Aquarium.

Maintenance:
BioActive Media does not need to be replaced but can be cleaned. Detritus can build up around the media and other organics, remove BioActive Media and wash with RO water, then soak with RO water and Pro-bio Blast for 6 – 24 hours before adding back into the aquarium or reactor.
